You start with a short film in the palace cinema hall — 13 minutes is enough to feel how much history Łomnica hides. Then you take a booklet and guide and go through 18 themed rooms on your own. From the 1720s study of linen merchant Christian Mentzl, through the elegant dining room of the 19th-century ambassador, to the original school classroom of the 1950s -- when an elementary school operated in the palace. Each hall is a separate era, a separate story, a separate atmosphere. You can stop wherever you want, and as many times as you want.
